I’m constantly amazed with how clever package designers can be. I’m a sucker for great packaging, especially the ones that make me laugh:

P.S. Aren’t these illustrated pieces fun? I love the idea of an illustration on a dress. However, I’d be tempted to color on it :)

Summer kick-off

01Jun

Hope everyone had a fun long weekend! This feels like the kick-off of the summer — it’s in the upper 80s here in DC, the skirts and sundresses have come out and the wedding season has begun.
roxy intro

Surfy-style Roxy epitomizes summer and their new site has made me want to jump on a surfboard, run around the beach… and design a bikini? Not only is their new site offering a blog, free music downloads, etc. (as many online stores are starting to do) but there’s a bikini design contest. How fun is that?

However, the coolest thing is the “Harry Potter photography” of the fashion — moving photos! Scroll your mouse over and check it out. You can see how the pieces flow and move on the model. Plus, as a web designer, it’s a super cool idea.
