Because I don’t think I’ll be able to. :)
I will, however, be having some fun at my booth at Eastern Market tomorrow, so come on by if you’re in the DC area. And it won’t rain until later in the evening – promise.
With the rain for Sunday as well, I think we’ll be working on some spring cleaning at our place, maybe look for some fabric to reupholster our new (old) ottoman.
If you’re lucky to have an adventure this weekend… go to a National Park! It’s free admission this week for all parks.

Because I need more stuff to pile in my tiny studio…AND…for Eastern Market on the weekends and other shows! I love my new spinning card rack. It will display the cards much more nicely and also will grab passing eyes more quickly. Plus I look legit now. :)
Now here’s the question: Should I spray paint it a fun, bright color?

This weekend I’ll be at a craft show in my little hometown in PA with these new Moravian star cards… then hopefully relaxing a bit with the family and doggies for the rest of the weekend.

Ah…it’s the weekend. Anyone else going to be bike riding along the coast of some European village like that lucky model?
Well here’s what I’m going to do: I’m going to sell at Eastern Market both days (Saturday and Sunday all day). That’s right! The next few weekends I’ll be busy with travels and other shows so I thought I’d try to be there as much as possible when I can.
I’ll have the Spring Bunny card, as well as the Fox print (which will be in the shop soon as I will try to photograph it today and others…).
Hope your weekend is as fun as European bike-riding along the coast!

What have I been up to lately… Just a few moments from this week. I have a friend in town so I’ve been a bit MIA enjoying the spring weather — but — she helped me with upcoming Easter cards!

Hey I’ll be at Eastern Market in downtown DC tomorrow! I have all the set up getups now. Two tables, a canopy tent… and new colors of my happy birthday card as shown above that I took with Instagram (plus, maybe a few more surprises).

I had such fun on Saturday at my first time selling with Eastern Market. It was a gorgeously sunny day (got sunburnt to prove it), saw lots of super cute babies and dogs and met many great people. My little booth was cute — already needing to expand. I had no idea what to expect in terms of space that I’d have. Seeing how others set up was really good for me to see; already getting ideas and have a lot of think about in terms of booth display.
Couple of things to consider after my first time there:
1. Bring my lunch
2. Have two tables
3. Add more height to display — like a rotating thing-y that you put cards in. You know…those things….
4. Wear sunscreen or get a tent cover
5. Have a calculator not on my phone (yes, I’m terrible with arithmetic – especially under pressure)
6. Bring a water dish for dogs to unabashedly lure doggies for visits.
My 51st state postcard was a huge hit for the DC residents, got a lot of chuckles.
I will put it up on Etsy soon too as well as a few more items I have coming down the pipe line soon.
