Oh hello there animals.
New woodland animal hello letterpress cards are now in the shop! I just kept drawing these little guys…and turned them into a pack. I can’t decide which one is my favorite…Ah, who am I kidding, it’s the bear.

Living in an apartment with no outdoor space sometimes kills me. Especially when it’s spring like this and you see someone else’s beautiful garden or patio with gorgeous flowers and plants just bloomin’ out the wazoo.
So I try to make sure I have lots of plants indoors (no matter how hard it is to keep them alive) to keep me close to nature as I can. Succulents are definitely the best for apartments like mine where you don’t get much natural light; they’re just so hardy. But you also don’t want to just keep them in their clay pots that they come in either because now they’re part of your home decor.
Here are a few of some of my favorite and unique ways to dress up your indoor plants:

Japanese paper planters that stick onto your window.

A vintage pig planter found here on Etsy to add a touch of whimsy (in many different colors too!)

A handmade concrete planter that just looks so cool when contrasted against soft and beautiful plants. Perfect for a minimalist and industrial look.

Thee most darling planter I’ve ever seen. Handcarved wooden whale from a Japanese design company.

Beautiful and organic-looking planter handmade by Pinch Me Ceramics.

Happy Birthday! … It’s gotta be someone’s birthday today, right?
These letterpress lime green and ocean blue birthday cards are now in my Etsy shop: in a set of six (with both colors!) and individual ones as well.
I always seem to find that birthdays sneak up on me until Facebook is telling me it’s today and so I like to have birthday cards on-hand. So I thought maybe others would too!
{ Oh yeah, and don’t forget to take advantage of the free shipping this week: (ends 4/23 9pm EST) Coupon code: SPRINGLOVE }

Ok, I may not be a real mom but I just had to have Bandit pose with my new letterpress Mother’s Day card. I mean, I pick up after her vomit/poop and wake up at 6 am — so that has to count for something, right?

So here are the letterpress Mother’s Day cards in the shop! I wanted a cheery, spring-like card that is feminine but also a bit fun. Just like mothers, right?
Also, the Thank You Flags card are now in a 4bar size (3.5×4.75 inches) as an eight-pack!
Psst! Also, this week only (ends 4/23 9pm EST), in celebration of spring, there’s free shipping for you. Coupon code: SPRINGLOVE

If you’ve already been on my Twitter and Facebook, then you may already know…
I’m giving a letterpress bookmark to each Etsy order as a freebie! Who doesn’t want more letterpress goodies?
And yes, bookmarks are still relevant! We are all not converts to e-readers. Does my household have e-readers? Of course. But my household also has a gajillion books. And they’re prettier.
Ok, I’m getting off topic.
So to all of my future Etsy customers, Enjoy!

New Fox Letterpress Prints in the shop! In both blue+green and in a simple black versions. Both printed on an 8×10 inches 100% Crane Lettra Pearl White cotton paper. They’re limited edition prints, signed and numbered by me.
This is my first official art print! I am working on an owl next in this similar style. And then, of course, a bear. I am also considering converting them for greeting cards as well (a series of animals). What do you think?

Ah yes, Spring is finally here! The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping… and with the weather this week for DC being in the 70s, I am one happy camper (I also put away my winter clothes. So I don’t know about you, but I’m not going back to winter)!
And to celebrate, I have new Spring bunny cards in the shop!
Perfect for saying, “hello spring!” or to send your upcoming Easter greetings with a bunny and a bow (or if you just like cute bunnies, like me).
Six-pack and single cards available now!
