I love sandals — it’s that ”I’m almost not wearing anything on my feet” feel where the breeze goes thru your toes…But it hasn’t been quite warm enough for me to break out sandals…and with this next week not looking good… I’m getting antsy! I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite strappy sandals that I would love love love to wear this spring (except no. 6 — aptly named “Laura” but forgetting that I’m 5’10″ without any footwear. So as much as I love you wedge, I can’t be a tower).

It’s March 14 and it’ll be 85 F today in Washington, DC. Oh how I am enjoying this! With summer-like temperatures with flowers and trees blooming, I get excited to wear color again. I especially love wearing yellow. It probably matches horribly with my blond hair but who cares. It’s so happy to wear, don’t you think? So I thought I’d round up a few sunshine-y floral items that are on my wish list.

Like many women, H&M is a staple for fun, inexpensive pieces to me. So when I found out that Italian brand, Marni, was going to have an H&M collection, I got super excited. Have I known of this Marni brand before? Of course not. But after going thru the lookbook, I can’t wait! I love the bold graphic prints, patterns and that “ethnographic folk motif look”. Coming out on March 8th to an H&M near you …

Now, just get warm out and I’ll be a happy camper! (disclaimer: yes, I know today will be up to 73F out which I’m not complaining about. But tomorrow will only be 48F. So I need consistency of this warm weather please.)

Who else is ready for Spring? Man, after this bone-chilling weekend here in DC, I am more ready than ever. I’m such a wuss when it comes to the cold.
Here’s some inspiration for when the weather turns warm…
1. Chrysanthemum Sprigs Scarf 2. Dotted Songbird dress 3. Happy Wanderer Sandal 4. Thai Kadjut purse
PS. Aren’t even the names of these pieces sound “spring-like”? :)

My favorite UK apparel brand, Toast, has the most wonderful winter shoe collection, from the cozy to the fancy. These are a few I’d like in my closet (especially the velvet-lined flats and the blue suede shoes!)

Then, I’d take those blue suede flats and their boat-neck oversize sweater, slim cord pants, and fair isle scarf. And I’d have my perfect winter comfort outfit.

One of these clutches is going on my Christmas wish list… now I just need to decide which one.
I typically lug around a giant bag all the time so sometimes I just want to dump a few things in one of these and go. Nothin’ too fancy. I love the foldover ones too for that extra space. And the waxed canvas ones look really fun too — kinda gives it that leather “feel”.

Ok, ok, I know that I just got married so I should stop looking at wedding blogs and the like. Buuut, I saw these dresses from Ruffled and couldn’t resist. This may sound…weird, but these are mix-n-match gowns. Yes, separates. But they’re executed beautifully. They’re simple, elegant with a vintage and classic look. And if you are getting married soon, maybe I can provide you with a little inspiration?

Don’t you think they would be perfect for a fall or winter wedding?
