Because I don’t think I’ll be able to. :)
I will, however, be having some fun at my booth at Eastern Market tomorrow, so come on by if you’re in the DC area. And it won’t rain until later in the evening – promise.
With the rain for Sunday as well, I think we’ll be working on some spring cleaning at our place, maybe look for some fabric to reupholster our new (old) ottoman.
If you’re lucky to have an adventure this weekend… go to a National Park! It’s free admission this week for all parks.

Happy Birthday! … It’s gotta be someone’s birthday today, right?
These letterpress lime green and ocean blue birthday cards are now in my Etsy shop: in a set of six (with both colors!) and individual ones as well.
I always seem to find that birthdays sneak up on me until Facebook is telling me it’s today and so I like to have birthday cards on-hand. So I thought maybe others would too!

Ok, I may not be a real mom but I just had to have Bandit pose with my new letterpress Mother’s Day card. I mean, I pick up after her vomit/poop and wake up at 6 am — so that has to count for something, right?
So here are the letterpress Mother’s Day cards in the shop! I wanted a cheery, spring-like card that is feminine but also a bit fun. Just like mothers, right?

I’ve been sick with a cold (and allergies)…and therefore am not operating heavy machinery. So therefore am not printing anything which makes me sad because I wanted to print the Mother’s Day cards I designed by this weekend. And to print more for Eastern Market since my stock is now low.
Well, maybe I’ll have to wait another week since I’m still nursing this cold. (Ooo perhaps I”ll work on my creating my website since it’s embarrassingly still just a “placeholder” one page site!).

It’s Easter weekend so we’ll be heading up to PA for the family festivities! Next week is busy and I’m excited to get back on the press: custom wedding invitations, Mother’s Day cards and personalized stationery (featuring a bear with glasses!)…
In case you missed it… my letterpress work was featured on Oh So Beautiful Paper the other day! It truly made my week and made me feel a little giddy since I’ve been following Nole’s blog for years. :)

Because I need more stuff to pile in my tiny studio…AND…for Eastern Market on the weekends and other shows! I love my new spinning card rack. It will display the cards much more nicely and also will grab passing eyes more quickly. Plus I look legit now. :)
Now here’s the question: Should I spray paint it a fun, bright color?
